The Girls’ House belongs to the retreat center complex and is the specially beloved spot of the Schoenstatt Girls & Young Women. It has single rooms and a youthful design that lends itself to smaller groups and family-like encounters among the young women or other guests. Many girls from the USA and especially from Mexico have stayed here for weeks or months as volunteers in the “girls’ program” or “extended stay”, and have very fond memories of their time here. After Hurricane Harvey, a very generous couple from California, the Gardners, spent months restoring and redesigning the house, for which we are very grateful. Hopefully many more youthful hearts can have lasting encounters with God and with other young people within its walls for generations to come!
